Remember our smiles, our fights, and our lives. Remember our struggles with strife and with pride. Remember our spirits as we pass sadly away. Remember our souls on this Spirit Day. Weep should you not we are finally at rest, Weep should you not we fought at our best. Together we stand and defeat what is wrong, Together as a community LGBT is the strogest of strong. Overcome the violence make people see, That we are people too we are not defined by our sexuality. Love through the heart stand proud head high. We will stand with you our spirits stand by. Lead us to victory with the blood in your veins, Reclaim the grounds that our blood had once stained. Hate should you not for what is to come? You fall to hypocrisy war never won. Remember us loved ones but be never afraid, We are with you in spirit we will be each others aid. Never point fingers and shoulder no blame, Simply remember our candles bright flame.
